Gloria V. Cossairt, 89, of Polk City, passed away October 17, 2017. She was born July 29, 1928 in Belding, Michigan to parents John and Myrtle Trudgen.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband James L. Cossairt. Left to treasure her memory is her son Timothy and his wife Shelly; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her sister Joyce Newman; brother Norman Trudgen; nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, in recent years after she was no longer able to attend, her Sunday School class came to her so she could stay involved. After she retired from Lakeland Regional Medical Center she had more time to enjoy her hobbies of knitting, crocheting and growing beautiful plants. She was a strong independent lady who never let life’s trials get the better of her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
