Carol Bredenberg Cook, 75, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on June 15, 2021.
Carol is survived by her partner Nathan Poor, her son Christopher and his wife Erika Cook of Lakeland, FL, and her daughter Melissa and her husband John Cone of Seffner, FL.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings William (Barbara) Bredenberg of Buffalo, New York, Nancy LaRusch of Hamburg, New York, and Robert (Candace) Bredenberg of Buffalo, New York.
“Nana“ loved and was also adored by her grandchildren Maria(William), Kassadie, and Jada. Carol is also survived by extended family, treasured friends, and the art community.
Carol was born in Buffalo, New York to Jack and Marie Bredenberg. She grew up along the shores of Lake Erie. After a few years living in Oklahoma, she came to Florida where she lived in Lakeland/Tampa Bay area.
She was an executive assistant for Rooms To Go and retired after 20 years. She was known for her smile, her laugh, and her evolving creativity. Always learning new ways to create beauty and share her art, her paintings will now bring light, calm, peace and remembrance to the homes of her family and friends.
