DAVID M. JERKINS

David M. Jerkins (74) of Jacksonville, FL., passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023.  David was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie and Melvin Jerkins (Memphis, Tennessee).  He is survived by his former wife Vickie Jerkins (Lakeland, FL), their son Mark Jerkins (Lakeland, FL), and his younger brother Paul Jerkins (Mary) of Olive Branch, Mississippi.  He will be missed by his family and friends and his wishes will be honored with a private graveside service.  

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Baptist Medical Center South, his oncology team at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and Community Hospice & Palliative Care in Jacksonville, FL.  Our words cannot express our gratitude for the compassion, kindness and support that was shown throughout his care and especially during his final days.
