Robert H Parsons

Robert "Bob" Harvey Parsons died peacefully at Good Shepherd Hospice House on Thursday, June 3, 2021 surrounded by his family. Bob was born at Charleston, West Virginia on October 1, 1937 to Robert Elmo & Vera Mae Parsons. Bob married Oma L. Ballard. They were married 40 years. Bob was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. Bob was a member of the U.S. Navy Hatron Seven (VAH-7) Navy Air Station Sanford, Florida and Air Transport Squadron Twenty Two U.S. Naval Air Station Norfolk, Virginia. He was honorably discharged with the service rank E-5. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Vera Parsons, Son David Parsons, brother Paul Parsons, sister Tink Walton, grandson Audy Owens, great grand daughter Emmalynn Monroe. He is survived by his wife Oma Parsons, children Patricia (Tom) Harrison, Wanda (Dennis) Denham, Michelle Nutter, Amber (Lance) Williamson, William, Debbie, Kimberly, Kenny & Shelly. Sister: Brenda, Marsha, Sandy, Donna. He has 6 grandchildren: Daniel, Amanda, David, Aaron, Amber, Matt 6 Great Grandchildren Leland, Jackson, Harrison, Brason, Hunter, Aiden. A graveside service will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
